Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU nurse to provide specialized care in a high-volume, high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability for travel assignments and possess strong critical care skills.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and responding promptly to changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress, clinical assessments, and treatments accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new or less experienced staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid BSN degree from an accredited program.
• Possess at least 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in high-volume or high-acuity settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in critical care procedures and ventilator management.
• Be able to work 7p-7a shifts consistently throughout the contract.
• Capable of completing three shifts per week for the full 13-week duration.
• Hold appropriate licensure and certifications, such as BLS, ACLS, and Critical Care certification.
