Job Summary:
The Outpatient Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic mammograms in an outpatient setting, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The role involves cross-utilizing with X-ray technologists to provide coverage and support during scheduled hours.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols.
• Provide X-ray coverage during technologists’ lunch breaks to maintain workflow continuity.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, safety procedures, and image quality standards are met.
• Adhere to strict compliance with ARRT, MARRT, and RBLS certifications.
• Complete all required documentation within electronic medical record systems, such as Epic.
• Maintain ongoing compliance with travel, background, and certification policies.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certified in Mammography and licensed by the state.
• Minimum of 2 years' mammography experience in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems.
• Possess current BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross.
• Capable of traveling up to 50 miles if required; local candidates accepted at lower rate.
• Ability to provide recent work history, references, and background clearances.
