Job Summary:
The XR/CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and computed tomography imaging procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. This role requires independent operation of both modalities during weekend night shifts in a rural hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-Ray and CT imaging procedures following established protocols.
• Review provider orders for accuracy and communicate with medical staff as needed.
• Administer contrast agents within scope and document consent procedures appropriately.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure images meet diagnostic standards.
• Follow radiation safety practices and use protective equipment consistently.
• Accurately document procedures and patient interactions in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT Radiography and CT registry credentials.
• Possess AHA BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrate three or more years of clinical imaging experience performing X-Ray and CT exams.
• Exhibit the ability to work independently during weekend night shifts.
• Have experience with electronic health records systems.
• Show effective communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
