Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Hem/Onc Registered Nurse for a night shift position in a Pediatric Hematology and Oncology unit. The nurse will provide specialized care within a busy hospital setting, supporting multiple pediatric units and floating to related departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and treatments to pediatric oncology patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting responses and vital signs accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, procedures, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including nicotine-free environment and safety protocols.
• Float between Hem/Onc, BMT, GenPeds, PICU, and NICU units to support patient care needs.

Qualifications:

• Active GA or Compact RN license required at submission.
• BLS, PALS (AHA), and APHON certifications required.
• Minimum of 1-year recent experience in pediatric Hem/Onc or Medical-Surgical units.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to pass hospital compliance tests and adhere to strict onboarding deadlines.
• First-time travelers accepted if they meet skill requirements and have required licenses and certifications.
