Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit. This position requires delivering compassionate, expert care to fragile newborns while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced NICU treatments and monitor patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate families on NICU procedures, infant care, and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including dress code and infection control standards.
• Follow unit protocols for equipment use, medication administration, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent Level 3 NICU experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with NICU equipment such as Medfusion pumps, Alaris, and GE monitors.
• Possess BLS and NRP certifications.
• Exhibit strong compassionate and outgoing personality traits suitable for infant and family interactions.
• Must be able to work third shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a 13-week contract.
