Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in a critical access hospital setting, ensuring accurate diagnostics and effective treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and educate patients on proper use of equipment and treatments to promote optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and functional respiratory tests to assess patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Monitor patients’ respiratory status and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on equipment use, treatment procedures, and safety protocols.
• Perform phlebotomies and IV starts/removals when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Respiratory Therapist license or credential.
• Possess NICU experience to support neonatal patient care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing diagnostic and therapy procedures.
• Exhibit strong patient education skills and clinical judgment.
• Maintain adherence to all safety and infection control standards.
