Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive physical therapy services to patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans. Oversees the delegated activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides to ensure optimal patient care and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' functional status through formal and informal testing to determine neurological, musculoskeletal, respiratory, and cardiovascular health.
• Develop and recommend goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
• Submit and update treatment plans for physician approval, coordinating with the healthcare team and co-signing verbal orders as needed.
• Design and communicate individualized treatment schedules, including frequency and duration, to patients, families, and clinical staff.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about their conditions, treatment options, prognosis, and rationale for interventions using modalities, exercises, and other therapies.

Qualifications:

• Valid State License as a Physical Therapist with active certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of current outpatient or acute secondary outpatient physical therapy experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessment and treatment planning within the specialty field.
• Successful completion of current skills checklist relevant to physical therapy.
• Submission of two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
