Job Summary:
The Obstetrics (OB) Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The role involves monitoring fetal and maternal health, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring the safety and well-being of newborns and mothers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered by healthcare providers.
• Utilize Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) to track fetal well-being.
• Support neonatal resuscitation and care, adhering to Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and family members on childbirth processes and postpartum care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is mandatory.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery and neonatal care.
• Knowledge of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM); STABLE certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient advocacy skills.
