Job Description
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Cath Lab position. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and responses throughout interventions.
- Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards, including AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Document patient assessments, procedures, and responses accurately in medical records.
- Provide patient education and support regarding procedures and recovery expectations.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, specialized cardiology environment.
- Strong clinical skills in cardiac monitoring, patient assessment, and acute care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
