Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified CT Scan Technician to perform radiologic imaging procedures focused on CT scans. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to safety and protocol standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens CT equipment, including Siemens Force-Somaris 7, Siemens Go.top-Somaris 10, and Siemens Somatom Definition-Somaris 7, to capture diagnostic images.
• Adhere to all radiation safety protocols by providing agency-supplied radiation badges and maintaining compliance with radiology regulations.
• Float within the facility's scope and to sister facilities as needed to meet departmental staffing requirements.
• Complete patient positioning, scanning, and image processing to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
• Follow established protocols for trauma and non-trauma cases, with experience preferred in Level 1 trauma settings.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic charting system, including Epic.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) credentials.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of CT experience, with trauma experience preferred.
• Possess BLS certification prior to start date.
• Have Siemens CT system experience and familiarity with Level 1 trauma procedures.
• Maintain a South Carolina RN license in hand or show proof of application.
• Be able to work 12-hour nights, Friday through Sunday, with flexibility for floating.
