Job Summary:
Provides urgent and critical care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and emergencies in the Emergency Room. Must assess and treat patients rapidly, collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, timely care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, prioritizing urgent needs and notifying physicians of abnormal findings.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with medical staff.
• Administer treatments, medications, and procedures such as IVStarts, blood draws, and EKGs accurately and efficiently.
• Document patient information, interventions, and responses meticulously within electronic health records.
• Perform emergency resuscitative measures according to protocols during critical situations.
• Educate patients and families on their condition, treatments, and self-care post-discharge.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid, current California nursing license in good standing.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Prefer 1+ year of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Maintain certifications in ACLS, PALS, and CPR; NRP and TNCC certification required within one year of hire.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
