Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for the ICU to provide expert critical care and patient management. The ideal candidate will ensure quality outcomes while adapting to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced nursing care to ICU patients, including post-cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma, general surgery, and neurosurgery cases.
• Float as needed to MICU, ensuring seamless patient coverage while maintaining standards of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR, with recent EPIC experience required.
• Work flexible schedules, including potentially all weekend shifts, to meet unit needs.
• Adhere to facility protocols, including all required certifications and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; CCRN preferred but not mandatory.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a large teaching hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with hemodynamic devices and critical care procedures.
• Have prior travel experience, with strong references to similar facility types.
• Be willing to work Monday through Sunday, with flexible scheduling and reliable transportation.
