Job Summary:
The Outpatient Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using CT scanners to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They operate imaging equipment, produce high-quality images, and ensure safety protocols are followed to minimize radiation exposure.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to acquire precise diagnostic images based on physician orders.
• Assist radiologists and medical staff during imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform routine quality control inspections and maintenance on imaging equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Document and archive exam details accurately to support proper interpretation and reporting.
• Adjust scanning parameters and technical settings to improve image quality and reduce unnecessary exposure.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, protecting patients and staff from radiation hazards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology; ARRT CT registry eligible or certified preferred.
• Current BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience as a registered technologist.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques.
