Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Supervisor/Charge Nurse for Med Surg and Emergency Room units. This role involves leading clinical staff during 12-hour night shifts, effectively managing patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate patient care activities for Med Surg and ER departments.
• Supervise nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
• Apply clinical expertise to support complex patient stabilization and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support staff development and training, including OB/Newborn stabilization as applicable.

Qualifications:

• Hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate leadership experience in a supervisory nursing role.
• Possess ability to manage high-pressure situations with effective decision-making.
• Show flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts on a 6-on, 8-off block schedule.
• Have relevant experience in Med Surg and Emergency Room settings.
• Maintain strong communication and team collaboration skills.
