Job Summary:

Provides advanced radiographic and computed tomography imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate diagnostics and patient safety. Operates and maintains imaging equipment while collaborating with medical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized CT and radiographic procedures, including pediatric, trauma, routine, portable, STAT, and surgical exams.
• Assist radiologists with diagnostic CT scans and accurately record information for physician interpretation.
• Maintain quality assurance by monitoring equipment performance, tracking mechanical issues, and coordinating repairs.
• Manage inventory and supplies proactively to ensure department readiness and efficiency.
• Support radiologists and medical staff during complex diagnostic procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
• Verify exam requests and obtain necessary patient consents to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
• Possess a California Registered Fluoroscopy permit.
• Maintain current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Demonstrate experience with CT, X-ray, and fluoroscopy procedures.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail, flexibility, and a team-oriented attitude.
