Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Ensure patient safety, education, and adherence to clinical protocols within the cath lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac cath and EP procedures.
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with cath lab protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to urgent needs during procedures.
• Follow x-ray safety precautions and radiation safety guidelines.
• Support the clinical team with pre- and post-procedure assessments.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license and current certifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterile cath lab procedures and protocols.
• Hold ACLS and BLS certification.
• Have experience in cardiovascular or cath lab nursing preferred.
• Capable of educating patients on procedures and discharge processes.
• Understand x-ray safety precautions and radiation protection measures.
