Job Summary:

The CT/X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, including CT scans and traditional X-rays, ensuring high-quality images that meet clinical standards and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate fixed and portable X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images for emergent and routine cases.
• Conduct CT scans, adjusting exposure and patient positioning to optimize image quality.
• Minimize radiation exposure by properly setting up equipment and adjusting tables and radiation beams.
• Process and archive images using PACS systems, and ensure exams are completed according to radiologist protocols.
• Assist with patient preparation, including contrast media administration for CT procedures.
• Maintain equipment, safety standards, and uphold quality control measures related to radiation and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold an R.T.(R)(ARRT) credential.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience as a CT technologist preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in radiographic procedures, radiation physics, and human anatomy.
• Exhibit strong patient care and communication skills.
• Able to work flexible hours, including call rotates and weekends if required.
