Job Summary:
Provides preventative and clinical dental hygiene services, including patient education, radiographs, and oral prophylaxis, while trained to support dental procedures and maintain compliance with organizational values.

Responsibilities:

• Perform oral prophylaxis, removing deposits and stains from teeth surfaces.
• Apply topical fluoride treatments to promote oral health.
• Expose, develop, and interpret dental radiographs accurately.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide dietary counseling.
• Review and document medical and dental health histories, including blood pressure recordings.
• Utilize Epic Wisdom software for charting and charge entry, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Maintain valid SC Dental Hygienist licensure.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR system and radiographic procedures.
• Be able to work Monday through Friday, with a maximum of 39 hours/week.
• Capable of lifting and handling dental and medical supplies.
• Preferably have at least 1 year of clinical experience.
