Job Summary:

Seeking an IR/Special Procedures Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures in a busy clinical environment. The role involves operating specialized radiology equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform intraoperative and special procedures utilizing advanced imaging technology.
• Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and patient confidentiality standards.
• Document procedures accurately within electronic medical records systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Float within scope of practice across various imaging departments as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold an ARRT certification in radiologic technology.
• Possess an active VA license; pending licenses considered with start authorization.
• BLS certification required; BSN preferred.
• Demonstrate minimum experience in special procedures or interventional radiology.
• Successfully complete background checks and comply with travel and credentialing policies.
• Have Epic experience and familiarity with clinical charting.
