Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified ICU Registered Nurse for night shift coverage on a 36-hour contract. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert bedside care to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and clinical indicators.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient information accurately into the electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies, providing critical interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current California RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience, with at least 3 months in the submitted unit.
• Critical care experience required; PALS certification preferred.
• Proficient in using Cerner electronic health record system.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
• Provide RTO requests, birthdate, and social security number upon submission.
