Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver precise external beam radiation treatments to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions. The role involves patient simulation, treatment setup, and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and effective care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer external beam radiation therapy following established treatment plans and physician orders.
• Perform simulation procedures, including CT and conventional imaging, to plan and verify treatment delivery.
• Fabricate immobilization devices and custom blocking to ensure accurate targeting.
• Maintain and document quality assurance protocols, reporting deviations ?5% to the supervisor.
• Monitor patient response during treatment, adjusting positioning as directed, and communicate issues to physicians.
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely documentation within Electronic Medical Records systems.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy and current AZ State CTT Radiation Therapist licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Proven experience operating Varian 21iX Linac, Pinnacle planning, and MOSAIQ/Allscripts EMR systems.
• Ability to perform QA procedures, simulate, and deliver complex treatments such as IMRT.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and equipment maintenance.
