Job Summary:
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. They maintain compliance with regulatory standards and provide patient care throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
• Operate mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment accurately.
• Ensure all imaging is of diagnostic quality while adhering to industry and safety standards.
• Maintain licensing, including fluoroscopy permits, and stay compliant with State and Federal regulations.
• Assist in venipuncture procedures for contrast injections, demonstrating proficiency with IV starts.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately within electronic systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT-R certification and CT ARRT certification.
• Possess State licensure and fluoroscopy permits as required.
• Have at least one year of clinical radiology experience, preferably in acute settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency with mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Maintain current BCLS certification from a recognized provider (AHA).
• Graduate from a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
