Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to clinical changes. Ensures patient safety and comfort through diligent assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient cardiac rhythms continuously and accurately interpret telemetry data.
• Respond promptly to arrhythmias or adverse cardiac events with appropriate interventions.
• Document patient status, interventions, and assessments in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about telemetry procedures and cardiac health.
• Maintain all clinical equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in relevant state.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation and emergency response protocols.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
