Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department, ensuring safe and efficient childbirth experiences. Utilize clinical skills to support mothers throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief as prescribed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor progress, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric procedures and neonatal care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Comfortable working 36 hours weekly with scheduled weekends and holidays.
• No call requirements.
