Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide vital respiratory care services in an acute care community hospital setting. The role involves managing various airway and respiratory treatments for diverse patient populations during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer inhalation therapies, including nebulizers, CPT, high flow oxygen, NIV, cough assist, IPV, and continuous albuterol.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as intubations and bronchoscopy.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and oversee transport of vented patients within the facility.
• Monitor patient status through ABGs, vital signs, and pulmonary toileting, ensuring optimal respiratory function.
• Document patient care accurately in Epic charting system while adhering to protocols.
• Demonstrate competency in pediatric ER and pediatrics patient care as required.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of relevant respiratory therapy experience in acute care settings.
• Hold current NH state license and BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, CRTT, or RRT are preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in airway management, medication administration, vent management, and ABG analysis.
• Experienced with pulmonary equipment including Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, and LTV 1200/HT70.
• Capable of working night shifts, including every other weekend, with floating as needed.
