Job Summary:

Experienced Operating Room RN Circulator with scrub experience preferred to support surgeries at Cleveland Clinic-Akron Hospital. The role involves performing complex perioperative nursing tasks in a fast-paced surgical environment requiring precise clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient condition throughout surgery, identifying and responding to any changes promptly.
• Document all perioperative activities accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to facilitate smooth operations.
• Prepare OR supplies and equipment necessary for upcoming procedures.
• Comply with all licensing, certification, and facility-specific requirements including ACLS, BLS, ECG tests, and background checks.

Qualifications:

• Hold a permanent Ohio RN license or valid compact license in hand at time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent OR experience, preferably including scrub responsibilities.
• Complete and pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Demonstrate active certification in ACLS and BLS with no pending issues.
• Provide a manager or supervisor reference from the relevant specialty.
• Be willing to adhere to travel compliance, background, and drug screening requirements.
