Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care and clinical leadership during assigned shifts. This role involves coordination of care, assessment, and supervision of staff to ensure safe and effective delivery of services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions continuously to identify normal and abnormal findings.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve targeted outcomes.
• Supervise and coordinate the care delivered by team members, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and performance feedback to healthcare staff, supporting their professional growth.
• Document care activities accurately and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
• Possess an ADN degree or higher in Nursing.
• Obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire; ACLS preferred, with W/I 90 days.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 1 year of hire.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
