Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, telemetry monitoring expertise, and a commitment to patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Interpret and manage telemetry dysrhythmias and respond to abnormal findings.
• Administer medications via Pyxis system and follow strict IV insulin protocols.
• Provide wound care, manage surgical drains, and assist with post-operative recovery.
• Collaborate with rapid response teams and communicate patient status using SBAR.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and maintain patient safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid state RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical and telemetry experience.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in using Pyxis medication system, SBAR communication, and tele monitoring.
• Experience caring for patients with COVID-19, renovascular disease, and post-surgical needs.
• Strong documentation and patient assessment skills.
