Job Summary:
The Radiation Therapist provides advanced radiation treatments and simulations to cancer patients, ensuring precise delivery in accordance with physician prescriptions. This role involves patient assessment, treatment planning, and operating specialized equipment to support oncology care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and ARIA EMR.
• Perform patient positioning, simulation, and treatment setup across various cancer sites.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and execute individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient responses and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment procedures and patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and institutional policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant imaging or radiation therapy experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Varian TrueBeam systems and ARIA EMR.
• Be BLS certified and committed to ongoing professional development.
• Able to manage a high patient volume, treating 25-30 patients per day.
• Comfortable working rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
