Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient assessments and interventions, ensuring optimal outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform procedures such as Foley catheter placement.
• Monitor patient conditions via telehealth equipment and remote telemetry systems.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech electronic health records.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure proper staffing and efficient unit operations.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and patient care standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Strong assessment skills and experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication cabinets.
• CPR/BLS certification; NIH and CPI preferred.
• Ability to perform procedures such as IV and Foley catheter placements.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and float between units as needed.
