Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with Endoscopy/GI experience to provide expert patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. The RN will support a variety of surgical and endoscopic procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain clinical expertise through continuous learning, certifications, and reviewing current literature.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model to peers, demonstrating leadership and credibility.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members using SBAR and interdisciplinary channels.
• Manage time efficiently to enhance productivity and assist colleagues in maintaining team performance.
• Adhere to facility policies, including attendance and documentation standards, and perform additional duties as directed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Endoscopy/Gastrointestinal procedures.
• Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated knowledge of endoscopic and GI patient care practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, virtual staffing model environment.
