Job Summary:
Providing specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, the Registered Nurse will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while managing multiple clinical responsibilities. This role requires autonomous work and leadership skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs according to established protocols.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Perform charge nurse duties, including supervision and delegation of tasks.
• Float to other units as needed to support hospital operations.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of employment.
• Possess at least 2 years of med-surg, PCU, or stepdown nursing experience.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and handle charge nurse responsibilities.
• Show proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation.
• Ability to float and adapt to different clinical settings.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
