Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Operating Room RN to provide comprehensive perioperative care for diverse surgical specialties, including OB/GYN, general, orthopedics, urology, plastics, ENT, and ophthalmology. The role involves supporting a busy surgical department with a focus on patient safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist surgical teams during procedures across multiple specialties.
• Ensure sterile techniques and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and surgical details accurately using MEDITECH 6.15.
• Respond promptly to call requirements within 30 minutes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and stability throughout surgical procedures.
• Support the opening of a new OR bay scheduled for 6/1/26 to increase procedural capacity.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of operating room experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in perioperative nursing and surgical assistance.
• Possess strong knowledge of MEDITECH charting systems.
• Be available for full-time, Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts with call requirements.
• Maintain ability to respond within 30 minutes for call coverage.
• Have reliable transportation within 30 minutes of the hospital.
