Job Summary:

Performs adult transthoracic, stress, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms, while assisting in transesophageal echocardiography. Provides preliminary diagnostic results and collaborates with cardiologists to determine examination requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Execute adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, and assist in transesophageal procedures.
• Conduct preliminary interpretation of echocardiogram results and communicate findings to cardiologists.
• Consult with cardiologists to develop tailored examination protocols and determine suitable technical factors.
• Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including holidays, with a minimum of 10 days per month.

Qualifications:

• Certified Sonographer with proficiency in echocardiography techniques.
• Demonstrated experience performing adult transthoracic and stress echocardiograms.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and interpret preliminary findings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with medical professionals.
• Flexibility to participate in call rotations, including holidays.
