Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to inpatients on the dialysis unit, ensuring safe and effective treatment delivery. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and promotes positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administers prescribed medications and dialysis treatments following established protocols and standards of care.
• Documents patient care activities accurately and promptly in accordance with facility policies.
• Develops and implements patient-specific care plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Participates in department quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities.
• Utilizes clinical expertise to support other units and departments in achieving seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin RN license required.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to start.
• Proven experience in inpatient acute dialysis nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, medication administration, and patient assessment.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and decision-making skills that prioritize patient safety.
