Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic and gastrointestinal procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing care for endoscopy and GI patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and sedation levels during procedures such as ERCP, Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, EGD, and ION.
• Prepare and assist physicians with various GI and endoscopic procedures.
• Document patient information, procedure details, and clinical observations accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and medication administration guidelines.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and manage emergent situations effectively.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in GA or a Compact state.
• Possess minimum 1 year of clinical experience, including experience with ERCP and related procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in endoscopy and GI procedures, including Spy Glass, EBUS, and ION.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
