Job Summary:

The Sterile Processing - Instrument Tech is responsible for reprocessing surgical instruments to ensure safety and compliance. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to sterilization protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Reprocess surgical instruments following established sterilization procedures.
• Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and equipment logs.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Operate sterilization equipment and troubleshoot any issues.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely instrument availability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in sterile processing or a similar specialty.
• Certified in HSPA or relevant sterilization certification preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical instruments.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
