Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide specialized bedside care for mothers and newborns. The role involves flexibility between L&D and Mother Baby units, with a focus on supporting diverse patient populations, including incarcerated patients.



Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to obstetric and postpartum patients in both L&D and Mother Baby units.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with all certification and licensing requirements.
  
• Float between units as needed, demonstrating adaptability and clinical competence.
  
• Ensure documentation and reporting are accurate and timely to support quality care and compliance.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Minimum of one year of recent L&D and Mother Baby experience.
  
• Valid TN state license or multi-state compact license; active and current in Nursys.
  
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (or MAB), NIH, AWHONN, NRP; certifications must be up to date.
  
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and adhere to orientation schedule.
  
• Comfortable working with prison populations and transitioning between units seamlessly.
