Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced MRI Tech to perform advanced imaging procedures in a tertiary care hospital setting. The role involves working night shifts on a 4x10 schedule with a 13-week contract duration.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures according to departmental protocols and safety standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with radiology team and healthcare providers to ensure patient care coordination.
• Float to assist in other departments as needed, adhering to hospital policies.
• Complete billing modules up to 5 hours for professional billing purposes.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (R)(MR) certification with NYS Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine license and injection certification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience; candidates with slightly less experience may be considered with interview approval.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting and imaging procedures.
• Be able to bill for modules, with up to 5 hours of billable module time.
• Be located within 75 miles of the facility unless explicitly excluded.
• Maintain compliance with travel and background policies.
