Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Stepdown Staffing Pool at a leading hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for adult patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in electronic health records.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or be eligible for licensure transfer.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent nursing experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit excellent clinical judgment and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
