Job Summary:

The CT Technologist specializes in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The role involves delivering high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Apply critical thinking to accurately position patients across diverse populations, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Recognize emergent situations and respond swiftly to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain precise and confidential medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate professionally with physicians, team members, patients, and families.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including proper documentation and use of imaging and hospital computer systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience.
• At least 1 year of previous travel healthcare experience.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Pediatric and geriatric patient experience required.
• Level I Trauma Experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Valid work authorization for the USA; references and documentation required.
