Job Summary:

The Research Nurse performs clinical research activities independently under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, ensuring accurate and compliant execution of complex study protocols, particularly in phase 1-3 interventional trials. They demonstrate expertise in regulatory standards, data integrity, and patient care within the research environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate care for research participants in alignment with GCP, ICH, and FDA guidelines, ensuring protocol adherence.
• Review and interpret diagnostic tests, assess subject eligibility, and facilitate informed consent discussions.
• Dispense investigational medications and manage investigational products following regulatory and sponsor guidelines.
• Collect, document, and report study data accurately, ensuring scientific integrity and patient safety.
• Manage regulatory compliance, including IRB/IEC submissions, safety reporting, and site credential maintenance.
• Support monitoring visits, implement CAPA actions, and escalate protocol non-compliance issues to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and a minimum of 2-5 years of nursing experience, with oncology expertise preferred.
• Possess a BSN or ASN degree.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of research regulations, GCP, and clinical trial procedures.
• Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and electronic medical records; experience with EDC and CTMS systems preferred.
