Job Summary:

A Radiology Technologist / CT Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment in various clinical settings. The role requires a skilled professional to operate advanced imaging equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT scans and X-ray procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures, obtaining necessary consents, and ensuring proper positioning.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Follow infection control and isolation precautions to prevent cross-contamination.
• Assist with contrast media administration and starting peripheral IVs as needed.
• Document procedures accurately and complete required compliance documentation prior to start date.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT CT certification and ARRT Radiography certification.
• Possess an active State license to practice radiology procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating GEPACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging systems.
• Be capable of working in adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, emergency, and pediatric settings.
• Have current AHA BLS certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of specialized experience in CT and diagnostic radiology.
