Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Progressive Care Unit. The nurse will provide specialized care in a step-down or intermediate care setting, supporting patient recovery and stabilization.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and clinical status, promptly identifying changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in step-down or intermediate care nursing.
• Hold active AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ICU or PCU patient care standards.
• Proven ability to work 7pm-7:30am shift reliably.
• Possess excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.
