Job Summary:

Seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in IMC/Stepdown. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and acute cardiac patient management to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry data on monitored patients.
• Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips per protocol.
• Provide pre/post cardiac catheterization care and manage related procedures.
• Monitor and care for patients with respiratory devices such as external CPAP/BIPAP and tracheostomies.
• Manage chest tubes, pleur-evac, and other external drainage systems.
• Support cardiac patients with conditions including CHF, ACS, arrhythmias, and post-intervention recovery.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac PCU or step-down nursing experience.
• Current RN license and in-hand credentials required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory; NIH preferred.
• Proven proficiency with EPIC electronic health records.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac rhythms and drips.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted.
