Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a Level 2 nursery setting. The ideal candidate will support both labor and postpartum units, ensuring patient safety and comfort during critical stages of childbirth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients, monitoring fetal and maternal health.
• Administer medications and perform interventions following established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and clinical findings accurately within the electronic health record.
• Ensure proper use of fetal monitoring equipment and respond to any abnormalities.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with experience in labor and delivery.
• Certification in NRP, Intermediate fetal Monitoring, ACLS, and BLS.
• Cerner electronic health record experience required.
• Proven ability to handle labor and postpartum nursing responsibilities efficiently.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts, starting around 6:00 am.
• Must include the start date, RTO preferences, birthdate, and SSN.
