Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care and support to adult patients in a critical care and emergency department setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes through advanced airway management, ventilation, and respiratory therapies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor respiratory therapies, including ventilator management and oxygen delivery.
• Assess patient conditions and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement respiratory care protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately and maintain detailed clinical records.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess valid Maryland or Compact respiratory therapist license at the time of submission.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of adult critical care or emergency department experience.
• Hold current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Exhibit excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible night shifts (3x12-hour shifts).
• Willingness to float within scope and to affiliate hospitals as needed.
