Job Summary:

The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services oversees operations of the emergency department, ensuring delivery of high-quality, efficient patient care 24/7. This leadership role involves collaboration with staff and administration to meet performance standards and improve patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate daily emergency department operations to align with organizational vision and community needs.
• Provide coaching, education, and performance evaluations for nursing staff to meet or exceed quality standards.
• Develop staffing schedules and workflows to ensure resource adequacy and support department growth.
• Manage clinical practice and patient care delivery, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in committees, and lead quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and control departmental budgets, justify variances, and implement cost-reduction strategies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current MA RN license with at least three to five years of clinical and administrative experience.
• Certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, or CEN preferred.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Exhibit strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of emergency department operations and patient care protocols.
