Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced maternity unit. The role requires proficiency in fetal monitoring, high-risk obstetrics, and emergency response, with flexibility to float to adjacent units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond appropriately to signs of fetal distress.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies, including pre-eclampsia and emergent C-section cases.
• Collaborate with support staff and physicians to coordinate patient care and emergency interventions.
• Document all clinical assessments, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately.
• Float to Medical-Surgical units or Emergency Department when necessary, maintaining care standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 3 years of acute care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with fetal monitoring and management of obstetric emergencies.
• Have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• Possess C-section experience and ability to care for high-risk obstetric patients.
• Exhibit strong assessment skills and the ability to function independently in a high-acuity environment.
