Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week ICU/PCU/Stepdown assignment with potential extension. The role involves providing specialized patient care in a high-acuity setting with night shifts and minimal required time off.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and post-operative patients in the ICU/PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs, assess clinical conditions, and respond promptly to emergent situations.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and meet state-specific licensing requirements.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years recent ICU/PCU/Stepdown experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EMR systems, preferably Cerner.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have proven experience with telemetry monitoring and IV starts.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
